1.3. OzEscapes provides an online accommodation booking facility
through Global Accommodation Search ('GAS'). The accommodation
and its availability is supplied by third parties. OzEscapes
acts as an intermediary between Accommodation Providers and
users in order to provide users with the possibility to search,
compare and book accommodation online. All accommodation is
sourced from the Accommodation Provider directly or their authorised
representative. Payment is made direct to the Accommodation
Provider or their nominated representative. GAS endeavours to
get all accommodation to provide their best rate but does not
guarantee that the rate displayed is the best rate in the market.
OzEscapes or GAS does not accept any liability for unavailability
of accommodation caused by the accommodation providers.
1.4. Our service is based on information provided by Accommodation
Providers such as hotels. We do our utmost to ensure that all
information provided on this website is accurate. However, we
cannot guarantee that all information is comprehensive and error
free. Nor can we be held responsible for interruptions or non-delivery
of information.
1.5. You must be at least 18 years of age to transact on this
site.
2. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
The website may contain links to third party websites. OzEscapes does not sponsor or endorse the operator's
or content of any linked websites. Subject to any applicable
Law which cannot be excluded, OzEscapes makes
no warranties or representations regarding the quality, accuracy,
merchant ability or fitness for purpose of any linked websites,

Links in GAS need to be created from the corresponding domain
name. This is to assist in both the billing and reporting processes.
3. PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to OzEscapes. Please
read our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and handle

4. CREDIT CARD GUARANTEE
4.1. Accommodation providers require credit card details in
order to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card information
will be sent directly to the accommodation providers. When you
make a booking you will automatically enter into an agreement
with the accommodation provider you have chosen. We will not
charge your credit card, as you will pay for your stay at the
accommodation provider. Note: In some cases where the accommodation
provider does not have merchant facilities, GAS will collect
the money on behalf of the accommodation provider.
4.2. In order to eliminate identity fraud, the accommodation
provider will ask for photo identification to ensure your identity
matches the booking.
4.3. You must be the credit card holder for any accommodation
booking which you attempt to acquire via the website.
5. FREE OF CHARGE
5.1. Our service is free of charge to users. Unlike many other
parties, OzEscapes will not add any additional
fees, like reservation fees to your accommodation booking.
5.2. OzEscapes receives a payment from Global Accommodation
Search for the provision of the OzEscapes referal service.
6. CANCELLATION
If you cancel an accommodation booking such cancellation will
be according to the cancellation policy of the accommodation
provider. We recommend you read the cancellation policy of the
accommodation provider carefully. If you cancel or do not show
up, the accommodation provider may charge you a fee which is,
in most cases, equivalent to one nights stay. Note: OzEscapes
or GAS will not charge you any cancellation fee. See point 4.1
If GAS collects payment and your booking is cancelled there
may be a cancellation charge based on the accommodation providers
terms and conditions.
A follow up email confirming the cancellation may be sent by
GAS.
7. DISCLAIMER
7.1. Accommodation providers can alter information about their
accommodation, prices and availability at any time. We therefore
cannot guarantee that all the information is accurate and faultless,
nor can we be held responsible for errors or inaccuracies in
the supplied information.
7.2. OzEscapes does not accept liability
for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use
of or connected with the website or for any services provided
by the website.
8. AVAILABILITY OF WEBSITE
8.1. As electronic services are subject to interruption and
breakdown, access to the website is offered on an "as is"
and "as available" basis only.
8.2. You are responsible for ensuring that you have alternative
contingency plans in place when the website is unavailable.
8.3. OzEscapes may impose limits or restrictions
on the use you may make of the website. OzEscapes may withdraw the website at any time and without notice

What is OzEscapes
(roamfree)?
OzEscapes (roamfree) is similar to Google
except it is accommodation specific and a commercial search,
not a generic search. roamfree allows you to search, compare,
check availability and book accommodation worldwide. In most
cases, the accommodation provider's availability is automatically
uploaded onto the roamfree.
How do I amend or cancel
a booking?
Log back into your booking using your user name (email address)
and password, choose the booking number you wish to change,
and then click the modify button. This will display the instructions
on who to speak to and relevant contact numbers. Please confirm
any cancellation or amendment charges applicable to your changes
at that time.
Who Collects Payment?
Unlike most on-line booking engines, the GAS system has been
designed in such a way that your payment in most instances,
goes directly to the accommodation provider. This means that
the accommodation provider has your funds and hence your booking
is much more secure than it is with other booking engines
Can I view my booking On-line?
Yes you can. By using the username (email address) and password
you created at the time of making your booking, you will be
able to view all bookings made. Simply click on the My Booking
link at the top right hand corner of the home page.
How do I know that I am
getting the best available rate?
GAS obtains it's year round and last minute availability from
many different sources however the system has been designed
to only show the best available rate.
When will my Credit Card be debited?
For most bookings, the debit takes place at time of check-in
however some properties require full payment or part payment
at the time of making the booking. Where an initial deposit
or full payment is required at time of booking, this amount
will be displayed on the booking screen and charged to your
card when you submit your request. Alternatively check your
confirmation for your individual accommodation provider's policy
on deposits, amendments and cancellation fees.
What do I do if I have lost
my Booking Confirmation?
Using the same username (email address) and password, log in
again and all your existing bookings will be displayed. To reprint
your confirmation you will need to access this from your email
inbox.
Do I receive a Confirmation letter
from the hotel or from OzEscapes?
At the completion of your reservation, you will receive a confirmation
email from GAS. You should print this out and present it to
the hotel at check-in. In some cases you may also receive a
confirmation directly from the accommodation provider.
Is my booking guaranteed?
OzEscapes provides an availability search
and booking facility for your specific request however ultimately
the accommodation provider you choose is responsible for your
booking. In most cases payment goes directly to them. This means
that the accommodation provider has your funds and hence your
booking is much more secure than it is with other booking engines
What will happen to my booking
if I don't check-in at the accommodation I have selected?
Most accommodation providers have strict check-in and cancellation
policies which would have been included with your confirmation.
If you fail to meet those conditions and have not cancelled
your booking within the specified time, you may still be charged
for your stay.
I want to access my booking
but I have forgotten my password. What can I do?
Using the "My Bookings" link at the top of GAS page
click on the forgotten password link and enter your user name
(email address) we will then forward your password back to your
email address.
Am I able to add further
bookings to my original reservation?
No, however by using the same user name (email address) and
password, you may add a new booking with its own unique booking
number to your existing bookings.
Will I be charged a fee
if I Amend or Cancel my reservation?
Our system has been designed in such a way that your payment
in most instances goes directly to the accommodation provider.
The cancellation or amendment fee (if applicable) will depend
entirely on the accommodation provider's policy. This policy
will be detailed in your email confirmation or alternatively
you can request this information from the hotel prior to making
any change.
When I searched for accommodation,
my chosen property showed available but was unavailable when
I tried to book it. How can this happen?
Our reservation system in most cases operates in real time and
shows up to last room availability. Until your booking is complete
the room is not deemed to be sold at which time it is removed
from the availability. It is possible for more than one person
to request the same room at the same time. In this case whoever
completes their booking first will secure the room. Any subsequent
requests will now show unavailable.
Will my Credit Card details
be secure?
GAS protects your personal and credit card details with the
latest SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology. SSL
encrypts information to prevent it being read during transmission
